My style is about authenticity: vivid colours, bright tones. I'm there to capture the moments as they are -- not transform them into something entirely different. After you book me, I'll create a mood board to shape the direction of the portrait session (location, poses, clothing, matching colours, etc.). I'll offer advice on the best locations, but will always do my best to accommodate if you have your own location ideas. I'll get in touch via email. If anything needs to be discussed in greater detail, we'll schedule a phone call or a Skype/Zoom call.
On the day of the portrait session, we'll meet at the agreed location for the photoshoot. I always arrive early. In an hour-long portrait session, it's best to stay within a single location -- though two locations are possible, provided they are within walking distance of each other.
After the portrait session, I'll send you a gallery within three days for you to choose your favourite photos. Then, I'll edit and retouch those photos and send the final ones to you via gallery link within a week.

It’s my job as your photographer to anticipate the moments and capture them. When you hire me for a session, I’ll show up with my running shoes on, ready to keep up with your kids and get into the muck so that we can make those memories in any of your favourite outdoor spots. Take me with you, so that you can relax into the moments while I help you and your family remember your time in nature together. This documentary photography experience comes with an album so that you don’t have to do any work. The photos get placed right into your hands.

After the shoot:

Out of all the vendors that you are going to have to create your dream wedding, your photographer will be the one spending the most time with you on the day of. Choosing the right photographer is an important step, and that is why I like to start with a complimentary consultation session: to get to know each other as people first. It is also an opportune time for you to tell me what your vision is for one of the most beautiful days of your life and knowing these details helps me to capture each moment exactly as you have pictured it. We will also work through a draft wedding day timeline for you to have and work off of to plan your wedding day.
Before the Wedding:
About a month before your wedding day, I’ll send you a wedding questionnaire that will detail all the big and little things that I need to know in order to prepare for the big day!
About one week before the big day, we’ll have our final meeting to cross the t’s and dot the i do’s! At this meeting, I’ll receive an up-to-date itinerary of your wedding day and a family photo shot list. The remaining balance of the wedding photography is due at this time.

And often, when going through photos weeks after the wedding day, I’ll find myself smiling as I’m prepping a gallery for delivery because all those emotions come rushing back. I’m all in with my couples and clients.
Besides that, you can find me at home with the hubs cuddling on the couch watching Grey’s Anatomy, The Bachelor, or anything on Food Network. If it’s summer time, then there’s a small chance I’ll be out hiking with friends or a much larger chance I’m chilling on the patio with the girls, a sweet glass of sangria and a homemade charcuterie board (Cheese, bread, and wine? Yum!)
And if after all this you only remember three things about me, I want it to be this: I love Jesus, I love my husband, and I love my job, in that order. Jesus took hold of my life when I was 12 and I’ve never looked back. He is the backbone of everything I do, in work, in love, in life. Finding a good balance between home life and work life is always important and that’s why I gotta keep some time reserved for my husbabe even through that busy season! More on our love story later…But my number 3 is my work, it’s you. With each project, wedding, and session, I’m all in. The goal is always to stay true to the people in front of my camera, capturing them the way they are, and to uncover the real and raw beauty that every couple shares.

On the day of the shoot, I will arrive after everyone is ready (don’t worry, I bring my own suit) and start shooting the BIG moments for you. I will focus on you and your partner first, and then the rest of your family and friends in between. The photos taken on your special day will be a mix of candid and posed shots.
During the ceremony, the BIG moments I will capture are people walking down the aisle, the venue, the vows, the kiss, and you walking off, newly married! After the ceremony, I will stick around to take photos of your first slice of cake, first dance, speeches, and if you want to throw a bouquet back for your friends, that too!
When the wedding is over, I will select the best 150-200+ photos to edit and send off to you within 90 days of your special day!
