This package is perfect for couples looking for fewer hours than full-day coverage but who would still appreciate having high-quality images of their loves ones and the moments they shared. I want you to look back and remember the ear-to-ear smile as you saw your spouse for the first time, or the first time you saw your reflection, or the moment you burst into laughter at your best friend's stand-up improv. More than anything, I want you to walk away from this meaningful day knowing that you were able to do and experience everything you possibly wanted.

About six months before the wedding date, depending on how far in advance you've booked me, we'll regroup and chat about your wedding plans, and get to know each other some more. I find this helps tremendously so that, by the time the day's arrived, you can feel totally relaxed and at ease: you're among friends! A month before the wedding, I'll also request a timeline -- this helps me prepare and allows for everything to run smoothly on the big day. We'll keep in touch about any scheduling plans or changes.
On the day of the wedding, I will arrive after everyone is ready and start shooting the BIG moments for you. I will focus on you and your partner first, and then the rest of your family and friends in between. I'll also be scouting locations for formal photos and keeping track of where the lighting is at its best. The photos taken on your special day will be a mix of candid and posed shots to ensure we capture both smiling faces and in-between moments.
During the ceremony, I'll be there to capture the precious moments and ensure everyone has exactly the right amount of tissues!
When the wedding is over, I will select the best 300+ photos to edit and send off to you within 30 days of your special day.

The above engagement photography package is based sessions taking place near Monterey. We love to travel and would be happy to photograph your engagement session at the destination of your choice! We offer reasonable travel fees for a variety of locations in California's Central Valley and beyond.

I do not limit wedding days to a set number of hours. I'm here to document the entire story that is your wedding, so you get me for the full day. Start to finish (Typically 8-10hrs)
I emphasize quality over quantity with photographs. You will recieve a minimum of 600 (typically 600-1,000) hand picked & hand edited photos (not Al) to give you the best pictures from all the different parts of the day, so your gallery tells the full story of your wedding.
Within 24hrs you will get a selection of the cream of the crop photos to choose from so you have something to tear up about and share with your friends, family, and socials.
The full gallery of billboard resolution photos will be delived within 30 days, + your gallery will be mailed to you on a wooden usb drive. 1 Year of cloud storage is also included.

Hello, my name is Deryl, I'm a husband and father of three fantastic kids (each definitely different in their own way!). I'm glad that you are here reading this rambling thought and you may have even taken an interest in my photography, Thank You!
I've always enjoyed technology with cameras being a huge part of that, along with being a bit creative, photography made sense to me. It brings joy to me to take pictures and then sit down to review what I've taken but even better, to bring joy to others when you captured a moment in their life. I have rarely shared myself, my thoughts, my hobbies, things that I have a talent for because of a fear of being criticized and a fear of failure. I just recently shared a post on my personal Facebook page that Jim Carey said about his dad failing at a job that he didn't enjoy because he was afraid to fail at the thing he loved to do. Sad to say that it has taken me 45 trips around the sun to realize that I might as well start trying and not to worry about the criticism and moments I may not succeed.
I started deeper down the trail of this Photography journey while taking pictures for my daughters High School XC team and managing social media for the team. I specialize in portraits /lifestyle photos for Graduates, Families, Couples and soon Weddings. I have always been a people watcher, noticing the small things in life and because of this love for people, technology and attention to detail, photography is an appropriate medium for me to capture memories. Embarking on this exciting journey towards marriage deserves to be documented, and what better way to do it than with a personalized engagement photoshoot? We understand that the prospect of posing in front of the camera can be intimidating, but fear not – we're here to turn that awkwardness into pure magic!
As a team, my second photographer and I are both also recording video clips throughout the day, as well as photography. We're able to separate to be in two places at once. That means we can do getting ready coverage at multiple locations, and get multiple ceremony angles easily without being obtrusive.
