My style is about authenticity: vivid colours, bright tones. I'm there to capture the moments as they are -- not transform them into something entirely different. After you book me, I'll create a mood board to shape the direction of the couples session (location, poses, clothing, matching colours, etc.). I'll offer advice on the best locations, but will always do my best to accommodate if you have your own location ideas. I'll get in touch via email. If anything needs to be discussed in greater detail, we'll schedule a phone call or a Skype/Zoom call.
On the day of the couples' session, we'll meet at the agreed location for the photoshoot. I always arrive early. In an hour-long couples session, it's best to stay within a single location -- though two locations are possible, provided they are within walking distance of each other.
After the couples session, I'll send you a gallery within three days for you to choose your favourite photos. Then, I'll edit and retouch those photos and send the final ones to you via gallery link within a week.

After creative direction is decided I'll consult with you or your planner on itinerary, locations, and movement on the day of. On your wedding day I will arrive early and check in with you and/or your coordinator, then begin the work of capturing the day.
Depending on the approach you prefer I may quietly disappear into the crowd like an embedded photojournalist or subtly guide you into the beautiful or interesting light. Regardless of your desired approach I will capture all the details, portraits, candids, group shots, and decisive event moments in images that look how things felt.
At the end we'll check in with you to make sure we've captured everything you'd like to have captured before departing, backing up all your files redundantly before traveling, and delivering a teaser image by the next morning. I will send you a link to your own personal online gallery. Here you will see all of the images you bought and their printing rights. In the top-right corner of the screen you will see the option to “download all” images where it will send you a .zip file to download to your computer! This way you can share them on social media and be able to put them on your smart phone and show all of your friends! (:
HOW LONG BEFORE I CAN SEE MY IMAGES?
8-12 weeks processing time from the Tuesday after your event.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY PRODUCTS TO COME IN?
It takes about 2 weeks for prints to come in. If you ordered a canvas, photo album, or a composite photo they will be in within a month from our meeting. Digital images will be delivered within 24 hours of the meeting unless you asked me to do some special editing on them.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The final balance depends on whether you added additional items to your order. All of my pricing is separate, as I don’t want to make you purchase anything you don’t want. I would say the average order is around $300-$1,000. You will have the pricing menu before you book.

Experience a completely unique photoshoot session that incorporates nature immersion, breathwork, and embodiment movement. One of my specialty’s is making people comfortable in front of the camera, offering a very grounded experience. I do this through my intuitive gifts as well as mindful practices and breathwork. As a fine art photographer, I have the skills to capture unique perspectives, play with the nuance of natural light and accentuate you and your offerings with custom styling.

We meet on site to set intentions for the experience and begin a meditative nature walk tapping into each of the senses. As we get into the present moment, I intuitively guide us to a sacred spot where we sit for a moment of reflection followed by a breathwork session to ignite the creative spirit. Next the collaborative photoshoot set up begins, playing with natural light, found elements and fabrics to adorn the scene. I then direct a mindful photoshoot, centered in empowerment, authentic expression, and healing among natures gifts.

My name is Sterling and I am a fine art photographer and mindfulness practitioner in the PNW!
Although I have been a photographer for 13 years, I also have a background in Landscape Architecture, giving me a unique sensibility for working with natural elements, set design, and perspective. After leaving the corporate design world, I spent time making art for myself with a focus on land art, the human form and photography. With this work I've shown in several galleries and enjoyed elevating human stories in their environment. However, I was missing that connection of working with people and wanted to infuse more of my mindfulness techniques into my process.
With that my intuitive photoshoot process was born! A truly unique experience combining breathwork, embodiment movement, energy clearing and art creation. This is the lens in which I work with all clients and they would tell you my specialty is making people comfortable in front of the camera, while capturing unique and artistic images. I love helping people feel good and at home in their bodies while graphically communicating their true essence.

","whats_included":"HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES IF I DECIDED ON THE DIGITAL OPTION?
I will send you a link to your own personal online gallery. Here you will see all of the images you bought and their printing rights. In the top-right corner of the screen you will see the option to “download all” images where it will send you a .zip file to download to your computer! This way you can share them on social media and be able to put them on your smart phone and show all of your friends! (:
HOW LONG BEFORE I CAN SEE MY IMAGES?
There's an 8-12 week processing time from the Tuesday after your event :)
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY PRODUCTS TO COME IN?
It takes about 2 weeks for prints to come in. If you ordered a canvas, photo album, or a composite photo they will be in within a month from our meeting. Digital images will be delivered within 24 hours of the meeting unless you asked me to do some special editing on them.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The final balance depends on whether you added additional items to your order. All of my pricing is separate, as I don’t want to make you purchase anything you don’t want. I would say the average order is around $300-$1,000. You will have the pricing menu before you book.

This package is great for those who need more than one photographer for multiple locations at the same time and want more photos overall. Includes an online gallery and a one hour engagement session.
My approach is to focus on creating a relaxed and authentic experience, so you can enjoy your day while I capture all the beautiful moments. I believe in clear expectations and communication from both parties and do at least two pre-wedding consultations to go over the timeline and plans for the day. My shooting and posing style is loose, candid and directional and I strive to create natural emotions and real moments that seamlessly blend with the rest of the gallery.

I create a mood board from imported images from places like Pinterest or other resources so we get a clear visual for direction.
We will determine where is best for the shoot to take place and if you, the client wants to be present or trusts me, the photographer to shoot autonomously. If the later, I will send early images to the client to make sure we are on track.
I will arrive a minimum half hour prior to shooting, depending on complexity of set up or you will be expected to arrive to the place of shooting a half hour, with food product prior to shooting.
Food photography does not have a formula. It requires patience and is a detail oriented process. Each unique shoot starts with “getting it right”. The first set, recipe or dish takes a little more time. It’s a really cool process to observe. Once we have the start point dialled in, then subsequent dishes move a little faster.
Expect 5 simple images per hour and even and hour or more for more complex sets or shots - especially if there are multiple elements in one shot.
After the shoot is complete, I will send a gallery of edited images and they will be downloadable after payment is complete.
An alternate agreement will be arranged if Payment plan is the option.
