During this consultation, we'll discuss the vision for your session, the best location for the session, and any other information that we need to make sure that your photos turn out exactly the way you want them to.
Our talented photographers will then work with you to capture the perfect image. We will take photos in a variety of poses and settings. We will also make sure to capture candid moments, so you can remember the special memories you had during your shoot.
The 25 photos that we provide with this package will be edited in the photographer's style and will be delivered to you as digital prints via an online gallery. This online gallery will make it easy to share your photos with friends and family.

","what_to_expect":"When you book me, we will either meet up in person or schedule a call to go over your wedding day. This is the perfect time to ask any questions or to let me know what type of photos you want to see from your wedding day.
During our photo session, you will probably barely notice me! My newlyweds often comment that they didn’t even notice me during their ceremony and are thus a little perplexed as to how I captured some of their favourite images. This is the way I intend it to be, discrete, because it’s not my day, it’s yours. However, when it comes time for receptions, groups shots and after-parties I’m not afraid to get right into the mix. Interacting with guests is really the only way to capture things from their perspective.
While our photo session may have ended, our relationship is far from over. Once the images are ready for you, I will send them over digitally. You are free to share and print you photos as much as you like. If you require further retouching, an additional hour is included with every package.

Brides and grooms who end up choosing me do so because they want something REAL, not another formulaic bridal magazine story. They desire artistic, documentary style imagery that captures and conveys the essence of themselves, their families and friends.
My newlyweds often comment that they didn’t even notice me during their ceremony and are thus a little perplexed as to how I captured some of their favourite images. This is the way I intend it to be, discrete, because it’s not my day, it’s yours. However, when it comes time for receptions, groups shots and after-parties I’m not afraid to get right into the mix. Interacting with guests is really the only way to capture things from their perspective.

Once your session is booked, you’ll receive a personalized consultation to discuss location, timing, and styling. During the Session
Your maternity session is designed to feel relaxed and unhurried. You’ll be gently guided through natural, flattering poses while also allowing space for organic moments to unfold. Breaks are always welcome, and the pace is adjusted to your comfort. Whether we’re photographing you alone or with your partner, the focus is on creating images that feel natural, connected, and true to you.
After the Session
Following your session, your images are carefully selected and professionally retouched with attention to natural skin tones, detail, and a timeless finish. Your final gallery will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, download, and select images for printing and keepsakes.

I am a Family, Maternity, Newborn Lifestyle Photographer located in Airdrie, AB. I have a passion for captivating people in their element and making them feel comfortable in front of the lens. I have recently added Lifestyle branding to my portfolio and I am absolutely in love with this part of my business.
My first run in with photography was when I was 8 years old and I snapped a photo on a camping trip with my bestie...USING A DISPOSABLE CAMERA!!!! Before you judge, it was the 90's, so it was a much different time then. I took my photos after developing them to show my grandma my trip. She came across this gorgeous sunset landscape photo. She asked for a copy and took it and entered into a photo contest.. and I freaking won it!!!! I honestly thought that it was just a lucky shot.
Fast forward just after high school my friend was doing journalism and asked me if I could help her with her camera.... I can be the \"techy\" one sometimes. ( if you don't believe me ask my Mother in law! HAHA) Anyways, I went on her assignments during her first year and essentially did all the photos while she did the captioning. We made an excellent team! Somehow I still didn't get the hint that this was what I was supposed to do.
5 years after that the universe sent me another nudge... third times a charm right?!?!? My sister in law asked if I could attempt using her camera to take their family photos. I said \"Oh Sure, I can probably figure it out\" and BOOM! it hit me this is what I am supposed to do for the rest of my life. So I saved up for my first DSLR and practiced, and practiced, and practiced until my friends were probably sick of being my test subjects. Once I felt more comfortable and felt It was time to show this to the world I integrated my photography into my Wedding Planning business. That didn't last long when I discovered where my heart was. So here I am cultivating and growing my dream!

I lives with my wife Brenda, dog Mia and cats Chubbers and Wally, who all make sure I am is up in time to see the sunrise.
I find the bulk of my commissions in eastern Ontario but envision travelling farther afield after COVID.
