Its my littles that have inspired me to pick up a camera and never put it down. I love capturing all those special but ordinary moments, the dirty hands hugging his sister, the way he looks up and smiles at Dad and his wild and free abandon for everything in life. The little rolls on her legs, the dimple on only one cheek and her pure delight at watching her brother run. These moments mean so much but are far too fleeting.
Adventurous, storytelling family sessions are such a beautiful way to remember the little things because I can document how those tiny toes grow, the hugs get bigger and grander, and the imagination and adventures change over time. It's such a joy to document the little moments from maternity, to newborn to rambunctious family sessions and really make the personalities come to life in photos to last a life time. I always try to remember on those hard moms days that the kisses and 'whys' wont last forever and one day he will find his best friend thats not me so I need to capture it in all its glory to showcase at his wedding one day.

Congratulations on your engagement! Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, before your wedding day. Please note that three of our four wedding photography packages include an engagement photography session. If we photograph your engagement session and you book your wedding with us, at a later date, we would be happy to deduct the engagement session price from your wedding photography package.
The above engagement photography package is based sessions taking place in the San Francisco Bay Area. We love to travel and would be happy to photograph your engagement session at the destination of your choice! We offer reasonable travel fees for a variety of locations in California's Central Valley and beyond.

confident. I have a good number of little things I do that have worked over the years to get baby smiling and enjoying the session with sounds or small games based on baby's age.
Your baby's mood will dictate the session, if they aren't quite ready or maybe need a small snack or a milk break or a cuddle I definitely encourage it.

You'll have two photographers capturing both photos and some video clips throughout the day, and we're able to be in two places at once to cover every angle.
We'll deliver 300+ images (often many more) and a small Highlight Video together within 60 days.

After creative direction is decided I'll consult with you or your planner on itinerary, locations, and movement on the day of. On your wedding day I will arrive early and check in with you and/or your coordinator, then begin the work of capturing the day.
Depending on the approach you prefer I may quietly disappear into the crowd like an embedded photojournalist or subtly guide you into the beautiful or interesting light.
